Has anyone joined the Walmart Marketplace?

If so, how is it going?

If you are using Shopify, apparently Walmart Marketplace has opened up to Shopify users:

Walmart has joined forces with Shopify to open Walmart Marketplace to new small and medium businesses. The venture is designed to help small businesses reach customers who regularly shop on Walmart.com.

I have and it is nothing special.

Just my opinion, Walmart should have a seperate site for store and marketplace. There are times when I want to stock level in a store and there are way too many hits from all over the world.

I think Walmart.ca you can limit to sold and delivered by Walmart and then get what is in store.

Walmart.com is inviting Shopify sellers to install the Walmart Marketplace app from Shopify's App Store to determine their eligibility. If approved, the sellers can add an unlimited number of products to the Walmart Marketplace.

Approved vendors can make changes to product images and inventory within Shopify. Those changes will be reflected on Walmart's site immediately and automatically.

Makes me wonder though, why is Shopify, a Canadian company that has grown greatly during the pandemic, not doing this with Walmart.ca first.

You can dance through some hoops and do that here also. My point is why should I have to. If they don't want to post prices I could live with that but in more or less real time they do know stocked or out stock as the bean counters in AK do all the ordering for the stores and decide whether to increase or decrease inventory. Often I wind up going somewhere else so I don't have to walk uphill* and all the way to the back of the store just to discover the item is out of stock.

* Here with the price of land they don't spend the money to level most of the lots so all but one store is up a hill. And that store is on the way wrong side of town for me.
