Hello.

I'm technically not a webmaster, but I am checking out the cool extensions you have for phpBB. Someone on the phpBB website actually told me about this site when I asked about a particular extension.

As for me personally, there's nothing much more to say other than I'm a American college student who is learning about phpBB in my spare time.

Not to seem pessimistic, but I think a large chunk of the lurkers are just bots or people who have already left. I see people online looking at a particular topic for hours, so I don't think many are going to join in unfortunately.

The majority of the guest users on the forum is no doubt bots, luckily most of them is good robots like search engine crawlers, but there is some real users in the mix. The forum has grown a bit slower then what i think most of us expected, but it is going in the right direction, and we are getting more and more real user visits :)

Well that's a lot of bots to be honest. I do wonder if you're being scraped maliciously with all the "guests" you guys have, though admittedly, I lack the technical skills or knowledge to know for sure. I have seen other forums with lots of guests, but unless they're very popular, they normally don't have 500 or so guests.

Ahref and semrush is by far the robots making most guest request on the forum, i believe they use the data for their SEO services. They often often creates 100+ requests a day. I do check online guest when i am in doubt what they are here for, so i have a good feeling with what is going on.
