When I do audits for clients I often find that the plugins someone has decided to use on the site is
- coded for XHTML when the site is using HTML5.
- inserted in the wrong location within the coding.
This article on Search Engine Land reminded me this is a problem:
The dangers of misplaced third-party scripts. It is written a bit over the head of the average website owner or web designer so that is why I started the thread in Web Programming.
There must be an easier way than me fixing these things every time a plugin is updated. Got suggestions?
